Your eyes inspect the note on them and you give a wide smile which lingers for a while on your lips, before you turn serious again. You think about the small argument you had that night but your attention is soon diverted to a noise you heard close to you. Your boots make loud noises on the pavement as you step and you breath fast. You notice the strong pain in your ankles, did you start walking too fast? Suddenly, you take the corner and you look back. You can feel someone behind you but you don't see any silhouette. You start slowly digging your nails in the palm of your hand and you bite your lip...

The sand burned under her feet as she walked slowly across the light - coloured beach. It felt good to feel something other than cold in such a long time, although it felt as if walking on burning coals. She didn't know if it was just her imagination or not but she could hear the skin of her feet sizzling under her weight. Suddenly, the landscape changed and this time she saw huge stones in front of her, coloured in beautiful shades of grey and black or pale reds and beiges. She walked on them, feeling their sharp edges almost cutting the flesh of her fingers. The sea slowly came towards her, wetting the rocks and cooling her, giving her the long desired peace.            The sea... what a great, marvellous entity appeared before her! What a great gift of Life that was, how it fascinated her! I have been highly inspired by some of the youtubers I watch to create blog posts in which I recommend different things. Since I already wrote about music, books, movies and photographers but not in a recommendation kind of way, more in an analyzing kind of day, I tought it would be a good idea to have some monthly favourites which I could write about here, on the blog. The first things I want to talk about are webcomics because I read them daily and I mostly use  Tapas  and  Webtoons  to do so. They both have mobile apps and the greatest thing is that Tapas also has a tipping service to support the creators you like, meaning that if you watch ads for a couple of minutes you gain virtual coins which you can tip to a certain creator and they gain real money out of it. :)  Some of my favourite comics are these: 1. Iarna trecuta am scris despre  de ce sa va uitati la filmele lui Hayao Miyazaki  unde am pomenit de cateva dintre cele mai bune filme de animatie ale lui, printre care si "Spirited Away". In aceasta postare doresc sa scriu despre un film care cu toate ca a fost facut in 1984, e de mare actualitate. Filmul se numeste "Nausicaa on the Valley of Wind" si poate fi vizionat online, il recomand in japoneza. Protagonista este Nausicaa, o printesa din Valea Vantului care lupta pentru a-si salva casa si planeta. Din cauza ignorantei oamenilor si a distrugerii naturii, majoritatea plantelor sanatoase au murit, in locul lor crescand plante otravitoare care "nasc" spori toxici, insecte gigantice si Marea Decaderii, o intindere imensa de toxine si substante create din plante moarte, care distruge totul in jurul ei.      I have decided to start a series of blog posts in English related to certain games, websites and maybe even apps that are not so popular, but totally deserve to be. On this blog I've written about photographers, book authors and movies directors in Romanian, but I decided some change would guarantee a much larger public.       The game I want to talk about today is "Creatures such as we", an interractive novel writen by Lynnea Glasser and produced by Choice of Games. Farewell poetry Penelope e la marginea plictiselii. Mainile ei inconjoara soarele, prinzandu-l in palmele sale acum rosiatice si aruncandu-l inapoi in departari. Vazduhul se invarte, lumina ii intra in pupile, micsorandu-le, ingalbenindu-le, orbindu-le. Inima tremura iar tricoul creaza miscari bruste, ca o toba care bate ritmic, sincronizata cu un dans mut. In ultima vreme pasiunea mea pentru filme a crescut din ce in ce mai mult si in timp ce cautam noi moduri de a-mi antrena imaginatia am descoperit ( si redescoperit) cativa regizori fantastici ale caror filme trebuie cu siguranta urmarite! (Sunt trecuti in ordinea preferintei personale, nu in ordinea importantei lor in cinematografie) 1.Thomas Vinterberg Thomas este un regizor danez care si-a inceput cariera la o varsta frageda si a avut un succes incomensurabil cu filmul "Festen" ("The celebration"). Acesta impreuna cu regizorul Lars von Trier au format miscarea Dogme care a fost creeata ca o forma de revolta fata de modul in care se faceau filmele in acea perioada. Ei sustineau ca un film trebuie sa fie perceput ca ceva real, nu ca o iluzie astfel creeand in set de reguli dupa care sa se formeze. Unele dintre aceste reguli sunt neutilizarea luminilor artificale si a recuzitei, locatiile nu trebuie schimbate, camera trebuie sa fie tinuta in mana, filtrele nu...

Hayao Miyazaki este un producator, regizor, scenarist, animator si artist manga din Japonia, cunoscut in intreaga lume pentru filmele de animatie pe care le-a produs in cadrul Studio Ghibli. Acesta a castigat nenumarate premii prestigioase, fiind primul realizator de filme animate din Japonia care a primit premiul Person of Cultural Merit, impreuna cu Academy Honorary Award ( este de asemenea al IV-lea creator de animatie din lume care a primit aceasta onoare). In anul 2014 a intrat in Science Fiction and Fantasy Hall of Fame, iar in 2004 a primit the Golden Lion in cadrul unui festival din Venetia, pentru contributia extraordinara adusa filmului, pe perioada carierei sale. Poate ca v-am starnit putin interesul acum, insa nu acestea sunt motivele pentru care ar trebui sa va uitati la filele lui Miyazaki. "Annees de pelerinage - I.Suisse 8. Le mal du pays" (Lazar Breman) Tocmai am terminat de citit aceasta carte si in timp ce Liszt ma poarta pe meleagurile indepartate ale Elvetiei, gandurile imi cutreiera peste lacurile din Finlanda, in bucataria in care Eri si Tsukuru au ramas prinsi in timp, minute in sir, incalciti in propria durere. Spre deosebire de celelalte romane ale lui Murakami, "Tsukuru Tazaki..." nu are nimic supra- realist, nimic fantezist, contrat modului in care ne-a obisnuit. As putea cu usurinta sa numesc romanul un roman psihologic, poate chiar un buildungsroman, daca stam sa urmarim toate schimbarile prin care a trecut Tsukuru. Inca de cand s-a aflat "la usa mortii, privind in prapastie", pana la cei 36 de ani ai sai, personajul principal a trecut prin schimbari majore, atat fizice, cat si psihice. Romanul se poate rezuma astfel: cinci prieteni din Nagoya, un oras mic din Japonia, formeaza un grup care traieste in armonie perfecta. ...

*filmele nu sunt in ordinea preferintelor De fiecare data cand vreau sa ma uit la un film am cateva criterii pe care merg: in primul rand sa nu fie romantic, in al doilea sa nu fie comercial, in al treilea rand sa aiba o poveste interesanta si daca e posibil, sa ma lase uimita la final.  Am adunat cateva filme interesante pe care le-am vazut care spun eu ca implinesc aceste criterii [mai putin unul din ele care e romantico-drama dar nu se pune, veti vedea de ce] : 1.  "The picture of Dorian Gray"   Regizor: Oliver Parker Actori in roluri principale: Ben Barnes [Dorian Gray], Colin Firth [Henry], Ben Chaplin [Basil Hallward] Dupa romanul cu acelasi nume, scris de Oscar Wilde Am decis sa scriu despre acest film intai deoarece romanul se numara printre cartile mele favorite si cu toate ca au fost inlocuite cateva parti importante si schimbate doua trei personaje, filmul nu m-a dezamagit. Actorii sunt bine alesi, filmul este desfasurat intr-un mod foar...

Mi s-a spus de extrem de multe ori ca muzica pe care o ascult eu e foarte ciudata. Ori ca "ii doare pe aia burta si de aia tipa" ori ca "seamana cu tailandeza, japoneza aia a ta ciudata" sau ca "suna ca niste fantome care urla" si mi se pare foarte amuzant. De ce e muzica mea stranie? Doar pentru ca are un instrumental mai neobisnuit sau pentru ca versurile sunt intr-o limba foarte putin vorbita/moarta, nu inseamna ca ceea ce ascult nu merita sa ajunga la urechile unui public mai larg. O sa las mai jos 10 melodii care m-au inspirat cel mai mult si care au fost criticate ca fiind "dubioase" sau trippy: 1. Eivør - Trøllabundin (Live Recording) Tipa asta are voce de zeita! E undeva de prin Islanda, din insulele Faroese si asa se numeste si limba pe care o canta. Melodia este despre un vrajitor care a vrajit-o si despre cat de mult i-a afectat sufletul.
